info: By utilizing a layered approach with real life footage, i want things to be beautiful. aims to explore the integration of technology, the overwhelming global communication at our fingertips, and discuss the escapism that pop culture media brings to hinder our real life experiences. Directly inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic, where overconsumption of media was at an all-time high, I had aimed to recreate my own relationship with digital media during this time by appropriating it in a choppy, unconventional manner; the compulsory technological intervention due to uncontrollable environmental forces.

This project was part of a collaboration with Louisiana State University with Experimental Music class students. Sean Melancon created separate audio for this video piece, which is available upon request.
