info: obsolete. is a found object interactive installation piece that forces viewers to reflect on their role in the e-waste fueled by consumer behavior within a culture of disposability. All of what was sourced in the piece was acquired second-hand, which brings to light the idea of recycling and reutilizing objects that were once cherished and have since served their purpose. What happens to things that we no longer need? When do we establish the point in time where they are no longer of use to us? They are nothing but fleeting memories as they are buried deep within landfills or incinerated, finally freed.
