info: torment. is a piece created in response to a vandalism incident that occurred this past semester. Hardly do I create work based off of more traumatic experiences, but was looking to art as a response to manage myself through it. The multimedia piece shows a rabbit, typically seen as prey animal, with an arrow through its head. There are tears and a scope sight within the rabbits eyes. On the monitor beneath is a text box with a prompt and an ASCII version of the digital bunny, with a vague question asking ‘why are you like this?’ This question was directed to myself, as to say what I could have possibly done to have someone think it was alright to put me through such a situation, or to avoid it all together, but can also be an open ended question for the audience. The only two options are Retry and Cancel, as there is no option such as Okay to accept this question in any way.
