When utilizing generative AI for a research project, I was rate limited in the process, preventing me from generating any further images. This struck me as ironic, as generative AI is often 'appraised' for speed and ease, yet the complete opposite struck me. This enforced delay showed a tension between technology's marketed promise of instant creation and the practical constraints that govern its use.
