info_ your connection is not private. was jaden sullivans first solo exhibition, curated entirely by the artist themself. sullivans work explores the evolving relationship between human behavior and technology in the midst of our contemporary digital age. with the blurred line between reality and technology being the place sullivan finds themselves navigating, digital ethics are not incredibly concrete and are explored through traditional media, found-object sculpture, and video installations. utilizing a multimedia approach fueled by internet pop culture and user generated content, sullivan invites viewers in an unconventional stance surrounding technologies suffocating hold on humanitys daily lives, and to reflect on their own relationship with digital systems.

this exhibition appropriated familiar visual languages of the digital realm and recontextualized them within the gallery space. screens function as both artifacts and interfaces, playing on the relationship between the user, the consumer, and the product, all while addressing themes of digital identity and questioning machine sentience. by reutilizing repurposed, outdated, and obsolete technology alongside other materials, sullivans work confronts the increasing reliance on technologies that we simultaneously choose to distrust yet romanticize.
